I suspect that...: I think, I guess 처럼 쓰인다. 가능성 높을 때도 낮을 때도 쓴다.

I suspect that I’ll be transferred to another team.

I suspect that he’ll get promoted this year.

I suspect that my boss will retire soon.

 

I might as well...: 강제적으로 어떤 상황에 처했을 때, 자신에게 다른 선택지는 없을 시, ~할 수도 있지. 라는 느낌으로 사용. 주로 부정적으로 사용.

I might as well resign from my position. (회사에서 강제로 팀을 옮기라고 했다고 가정). 퇴사할 수도 있지.

I might as well get used to my new position.

I might as well ask to be transferred to an overseas branch.

I might as well look for another job.

 

put somebody in ~ position: ~을 ~한 입장에 놓이게 하다. 주로 ~을 어려운 입장에 놓이게 하다.

You've put me in a very difficult positin.

Original: In Korea, all emplyees are working together.

Better: In Korea, all employees work together.

 

Original: In my company's case, we don't have special room for the team leader.

Better: In my company's case, there isn't a separate office for the team leader.

 

Original: But in my first company's there was a detailed work position.

Better: There were more detailed work positions at my first company.

 

Original: I suspect that I will engage in the project as a developer.

Better: I suspect that I will work on the project as a developer.

 

Original: My team leader asked me to work in different region.

Better: My team leader asked me to work in a different region.

 

Original: If my team leader can't take away his ask, I might as well search for a new job.

Better: If my team leader can't take back his job reassignment, I might as well search for a new job.
