settle on ~: make a decision between two or more people or things after not being certain which to choose

The team members had settled on a date for their party.

I know you had settled on a salary with Mr. Bale in your interview, but I need to address some of your other requests.

address: <어려운 문제 등을> 다루다, 처리하다, (본격적으로) 착수하다

 

time off: a period of time when you do not work because of illness or holidays

He wanted to take a time off because of stress.

 

contract period:  number of working days, from a specified commencement date to a specified completion date, as provided for in a contract.

commencement: 개시

The contract period for the new project is six months.

Original: I'm not a sales man so actually I don't have many experience to negotiate with client.

Better: I don't work in sales so I don't have a lot of experience in negotiating.

 

Original: You might be interested in this drama, it's very thriller.

Better: You might be interested in this drama, it's very thirilling.

 

Original: I don't ask many vacations.

Better: I don't ask for a lot of vacation days.
