Someone has turned a briefcase in. Is this yours?

 

tipping:the act of giving an amount of money to someone who has provided a service, especially in a hotel or restaurant

In the States, tipping is common.

 

I’ll get back to you...: 다시 전화 걸게.

I'll get back to you on Monday.

I'll get back to you at 2 o'clock.

I'll get back to you tomorrow.

 

I’d like to treat you…

I'd like to treat you a drink.

I'd like to treat you coffee.

I'd like to treat you lunch.

 

Is there any...?

Is there any water?

Is there any more bread?

Is there any sugar?

Is there any number I can call to reach you?

Original: Today the work was a little busy but I handed all of the tasks.

Better: Work was a little busy today, but I handed in all of the tasks for the day on time.

 

Original: I heard that the Indians can't eat the pork. I check if there are vegetarians amongst the guests.

Better: I heard that Indians can't eat pork. I would check if any of the guests are vegeterian.

 

Original: I heard that in America some people go to the hotel and there is some tip for the cleaners.

Better: I heard that in America people tip the hotel staff.
