There are three types of conflict that can exist within an organization—the good, the bad, and the ugly. 

 

Good conflicts can be healthy and productive, spurring creativity and innovation. 

 

Bad conflicts result from problems in the organization, such as ill-defined job responsibilities or glitches in the organizational structure. ill-defined: 잘못 정의한, glitch: 작은 결함

These can be remedied by adjusting the power structure, separating conflict members, further elaborating job descriptions, etc. remedy: 처리 방한, 해결책, 바로잡다, 개선하다

 

Ugly conflicts are complete disruptions to an organization.

Often, they exist for many years, there is a lot of secretive complaining about them, and employees spend little time trying to resolve them, instead focusing on self-preservation.
